There is a new breed of weapon being tested over the Western Utah desert, a weapon that may one day change modern warfare as we know it.
On Oct. 16th, a Boeing Phantom Works team launched a test operation for their Counter-electronics High-powered Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP). The CHAMP missile is a non-lethal weapon designed to eliminate electronic targets without causing harm to people or structures.
The CHAMP missile was tested on seven structures built in the desert, it successfully deployed a High Power Microwave blast on the targets rendering all electronics inside useless.
