Google Fiber is a project in its infancy stages which sets out to build an internet network and television service infrastructure using fiber optic communication. The initial pilot project has been launched in Kansas City, Kansas. Google Fiber’s connection boasts speeds 100 times faster than today’s average broadband. As far as pricing is concerned, Google Fiber will offer three options. A free broadband internet option for up to 7 years (with average broadband speeds), a $70 per month 1 Gbps internet only option, and a version including both 1 Gbps internet and Google Fiber TV service for $120 per month.
