Lets just start off by warning you that what your about to witness will blow your mind. The MaKey MaKey invention kit is freaking awesomely cool and why on earth did it take us this long to make this post?
Moving on, so what is this MaKey MaKey invention kit you ask? Its an ingenious idea turned product that enables the user to turn everyday objects (such as bananas) into touch-pads which can be used to control computer programs or the internet. Hardware wise, the invention kit is super simple consisting of alligator clips, a USB cable, and the MaKey MaKey board itself. It will work on laptops and desktops so long as they have a USB port and a recent operating system.
OK, onto how this badass device works. You simply alligator clip two objects to the MaKey MaKey board i.e. yourself and a bunch of alphabet-soup noodles which you will be using as your new baller keyboard setup. Now load up Facebook and get ready to post a status update, or whatever. When you touch the alphabets, the connection is made and MaKey MaKey sends the computer a keyboard message just like a regular keyboard would, hence, you now have a keyboard made of noodles lol.
